Pecha Kucha ペチャクチャ , or “chit chat" in Japanese, is a concise presentation style, comprised of twenty slides at a duration of twenty seconds each that advance automatically. This format, devised by Klein Dytham Architecture, powers multi-speaker events called Pecha Kucha Nights. PKNs invite creatives of all fields to meet, present projects, and exchange ideas in 830+ cities around the world. Pecha Kucha has a global reputation for an eclectic mix of artists, activists, musicians, comedians, designers, architects, filmmakers, photographers, writers, mountaineers, et al coming together to make their patented Pecha Kucha presentation in front of an attentive, appreciative, and appropriately lubricated audience.
